TheAimes produced the Noor Exhibition Light Upon Light, a major retrospective on light, which analysed the main light artists of the 60s and 80s as well as recent developments from Saudi pioneers – from Lucio Fontana, TeamLab, James Turrell and Ivan Navarro to Ahmed Mater, Nasser El Salem and many others.
Curated by Susan Davidson, former curator of the Guggenheim Museum, and Raneem Zaki Farsi, local curator expert in Saudi Arabia’s contemporary art scene,

TheAimes also managed all operations and public engagement for 3 months, including the creation of the exhibition catalogue.
Time Factor. We organized the exhibition in an extremely challenging moment, in the middle of the Covid-19 pandemic with rules changing rapidly, TheAimes developed innovations that ensured the safety of visitors, staff and public at arge following all the regulations of the country.
