Bedayat: Beginnings of Saudi Art Movement is a landmark exhibition that explores the foundations and early development of modern art in Saudi Arabia. Bringing together works by pioneering artists alongside archival materials, the exhibition traces the emergence of artistic practices shaped by cultural, social, and institutional transformations in the Kingdom.
Organized into three thematic sections—Foundations, Currents of Modernity, and Pioneers—Bedayat offers visitors a deeper understanding of the individuals, ideas, and movements that defined the beginnings of Saudi visual culture. A complementary public program of talks, workshops, and masterclasses further expands the exhibition’s narrative, creating opportunities for dialogue, learning, and engagement with the history and future of Saudi art.
