Saudi Pavilion, 19th Biennale Architettura 2025, Italy

Aimes produced the Saudi Pavilion titled “The Um Slaim School: An Architecture of Connection”, showcasing a generational emergence of critical spatial practices that seek engagement with a participatory edification of urban futures and eco-social imaginaries.

Conceived and designed by Syn Architects (Sara Alissa and Nojoud Alsudairi), the pavilion work expounds upon the architectural heritage of Riyadh in relation to ecology, identity, and urban-making, advancing how local places of knowledge can address the urgencies of a rapidly evolving world—in Saudi Arabia, the Arab region, and beyond.
